A word from our Board Member
I wanted to say a few words about our mission.
In our 30 years of business, Alajlan Family Office has become a key player in the market, investing in the different asset classes – from real estate to tech investment.
Our mission is to invest in the best 0.5% of the 2,400+ tech startups that reached out to us. The fund’s due diligence, investing decisions, and frameworks are made by a team who have founded companies now valued at over $10B in aggregate, invested in 250+ startups, and generated top one-percentile portfolio returns. We utilize a proprietary machine-learning algorithm to help validate and screen potential investments, building a diversified portfolio of top startups that is statistically powered to outperform.
We believe dreamers don’t build the future. It’s built today by doers. It’s crafted by people who live on the edge of cultural trends and understand where things are heading.

Our most important relationships depend on the mutual trust that arises from intellectual honesty. To build and maintain a strong relationship, we need to trust each other. We strive to obtain and share information with a keen awareness of our cognitive and professional biases.
Team
We invest in the founding team above everything else. We believe venture investing is a multi-round, multi-decade game.
We look for founders who have a deep understanding of the industry they’re trying to innovate in… Founders who are proactive in solving global problems.

Product
We’re interested in new, innovative products that are backed by recent technological developments.
We invest in products that help solve global problems with easy-to-use solutions.
Stage
The earlier your company is, the more we can help. We invest in all stages, but we mainly focus on Pre-Seed, Seed and Pre-Series A.
Industry
We believe that all ideas matter, and we’re ready to look at anything.
But if you’re in the fields of B2B SaaS, future of work, PropTech, EduTech, and developer tools, you’ll get the priority.

Location
We focus on the MENAP region, but we've invested in startups in over 18 countries across different continents, for which the location of the business and/or team is a non-issue.
Investing Process
→ Submit your pitch deck through the form below with a sentence or two about what you built and why you’re the right founder to work with us;
→ If you pass the screening process, we’ll reach out to you for a 30-minute introduction meeting to cover the problem statement and team. We will then work behind the scenes to assess an initial opportunity score.
→ Every Tuesday, we internally review the pitch decks and discuss them with the rest of the family-office committee members.
→ We schedule as many additional sessions as needed with the rest of the committee members to build conviction on the rest of the opportunity and risk framework.
We only ask for more time once we seriously consider investing in a company and we try to keep our meetings as fast and transparent as possible;
→ Every Wednesday, we send out acceptance or rejection letters to our applicants.
